We are a home breeder. All our babies are born in one of our bedrooms that has been converted to a puppy nursery. We spend many hours a day with them, handling them and cuddling them. Once they have had their first vaccination at 6 weeks, they are then moved to our family room where all the family activity is. There they are around us, our friends and the other dogs and the real socialization begins.
All our Pets are very spoiled. They swim in the pool, go for rides in the car, on shopping trips with us when permitted and have more toys and clothes than most two legged children. They are very well known in our community.
Here at Classy Paws, we breed for quality. We strive to produce the very best in our breeding program. We breed mostly for the colors of solid white, white liver, solid red, red/white, cremes and the rare blues. But also have the more common colors as well. That is the fun of breeding the Shih Tzu, they come in a variety of flavors.
Our babies are AKC registered and will have the faces that will melt your heart and from the very first moment, their dispositions will make you fall in love instantly.
We love our Tzus and want you to know that when you purchase a puppy from us, he/she will receive the same treatment while in our care. He/she will come completely socialized and prespoiled. We strive to exceed your expectations and want your puppy buying experience to be a pleasant one and your new family member to be an enjoyment for many years to come. Although we don't have our own children as puppy socializers, we have many friends that do have and they are happy to do that job for us.

Here at Classy Paws, we do testing for Juvenile Renal Dysplasia. JRD is the most common problem in the Shih Tzu breed.

Enriching Lives Four Paws at a Time
In the days to come you will see some changes being made here at Classy Paws Shih Tzu's. We have decided to cut way back on breeding due to some health conditions as well as we just feel that this breed is way overpopulated. So many animals of all kinds are ending up in shelters these days, in spite of all our efforts to prevent that from happening. We will still continue to breed some for our loyal buyers that have been so kind to us in giving our babies wonderful homes. You just will not see as many puppies being produced here. And we would like to remind anyone who has bought from us in the past, or intends to purchase from us in the future, if at anytime you can no longer care for your puppy/dog we would like to be notified, as we do not want any of our babies to end up in shelters.
